Cheesy Cauliflower Steaks

This mouthwatering roasted Cauliflower Steaks recipe takes thick slices of cauliflower and seasons and roasts them in the oven with a delightful cheesy topping, creating a delicious recipe that even non-vegetarians won't be able to resist. With just a few simple ingredients and easy steps, you'll have a wholesome and flavorful meal ready in no time.

🥘 Ingredients

Cauliflower: you will want to buy a whole head of cauliflower. Look for a medium to large head.

Extra virgin olive oil

​Garlic powder

Onion Powder:

Italian seasonings

Grated parmesan cheese

Shredded mozzarella cheese​

🔪 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasonings, and grated parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  3. Slice cauliflower into thick steaks, about 1 to 1-½ inches wide.
  4. Place cauliflower steaks on prepared baking sheet. 
  5. Brush olive oil mixture evenly over top of cauliflower steaks.
  6. Place in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, until cauliflower is fork tender.
  7. Remove steaks from oven and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese. Turn oven broiler on high.
  8. Place cauliflower steaks back in the oven and broil cheese for 30-40 seconds until .golden brown

Refrigerate: store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. 

Reheat: When reheating, place the cauliflower steaks on baking sheet in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Alternatively, they can be reheated in the air fryer at 350 for 10 minutes.

    I have so much cauliflower in my garden and was lucky to find this delicious recipe for cauliflower steaks. The topping of the mozzarella was so good. It was like a healthy pizza. I could eat this one every day.
